My block is finally done. And I'm sending you both, as requested. I really disliked the one that is darker. I was trying to make it like a picture I have of a flower that was blooming in the snow. But didn't turn out at all right. So I made the lighter one. Don't you just love snow days - it allowed me to sew my snowblossom!

I love the light blue one as a Snow Blossom snow flake & I also like the darker one as a flower. Don't get rid of the darker one, as I see lots of possibilites for it!!
I love your idea of cutting out the center snowflake & appliquing it, like you did. Good thinking with that idea. Thank you for sharing with all of us on the quilting board today.

I love the color's & your fabric's. Especially the blue with the white snowflakes. Even though you had a hard time with it, I am so proud of you for finishing it & doing such a nice job. Trust me, from now on pp'ing will come easier & easier for you. I am also a fan of the gray fairy dust fabric you used to accent it with. I always try to keep a few color's of fairy dust in my stash. It's so pretty!! Thank you for sharing with all of us.
