Owlie, applique the jar lid separately. You might get the look you want that way.

Okay here is my canning jar. Do you like it? It's 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches. Which block do you like or want in the swap. The one early or this one?

I think your corners need to be the same color as the border fabric in order to look like a jar. But, the lid is great.

Thanks Judith I realized that after I took the picture and studied it.
The one on the left I love but don't think the jar pop's enough.
So the one on the right I believe is it. Plus I don't have enough fabric for the borders on the left.

Eurika! That's it! I love your jars. Good job. Lordy, those pumpkin faces in the jar made me laugh. And the ghosts look like they've been captured like lightening bugs. Lol
