Now, here is a picture of the runner my swap partner, Mary Grether made and sent to me. I think she did a great job in her fabric selection! I love the Harvest theme. She is brand new to quilting and I appreciate her willingness to jump in and take part in this swap!

jljack: Mailed your runner today. By the way, I had a family BBQ here this weekend, and sure had a lot of compliments on the runner you made me! Of course, at first, everyone thought I had made it, but when I explained, they thought the swap was a neat idea and that I was lucky to get such a good partner :thumbup:

She came through surgery very well considering it was an extensive bleed and she has a number of other major health issues. Problem will now be rehab and recovery. She lives alone 160 miles from us, and doesn't want to move closer. So we're not sure what this is going to mean for the next few weeks, and then long-term. I'm going to be going back and forth a lot until we get things settled with her.
