Well it's the next day, the voting is over, Scotty won. The top 13 kids are all going to go far. My favorite was James, but it seems rockers (and I'm not a rocker fan at 63 yrs. old) will just never win. Now it will seem like years before Jan. comes around again. It will be interesting what Simon has with the X factor in the fall.

Oh, and PS, I was country when country wasn't cool. Am a hugh country fan. I just happened to like James the best.

I have been for Scotty all along-he is so humble. Lauren is very talented also and would have been happy with either one of them winning. It seems like the two of them are an item??? Time will tell. I love country music.

The next day....I'm so happy Scotty won! What a great kid and loved that he was also a baseball player. So much talent this year. It was fun to watch. I think they will all do well in the long run.

Scotty's voice just verberates through me. I think he is going to make a huge star in a short amount of time. I love that he gave the Credit for his win to God. We need more of that kind of awareness.

Next Day, I loved it that Scotty won. He has a great voice. I voted for him every week he sang. Loved Tom Jones songs and Tom Jones performance. Hated Lady Gaga....she is so close to porn that she should not be on a family show. Otherwise it was a good show with lots of talent.

I watched every week and loved most all the contestants. Some I hated to see get voted off. But someone had to go. I am very happy with how it all turned out. I am hoping to see Scotty and Lauren team up and do a duet or two. They did very well together on the show.

I agree with you on Lady Gaga. I think she wears all the "stuff", can't call if clothes, because she is really a very ugly woman. I have to look away when I listened to her. She has a good voice, just not anything I want to look at.

I can't help but smile when I watch this. Wow, to be 17 years old and have this kind of a day. These are two very special men.
