    New Homes were wonderful machines - had several. The company got bought up by Janome and many New home parts will fit Janomes, and vice versa. Just recently bought a Janome and found my old New Home walking foot fits it perfectly.

    Wow a great find ! Lots of older machines are the best ! they are real workhorses and made better than many today that have cheap plastic parts :roll:

    I also belong to Free Cycle, Got a White sewing machine was told it is about a 1980. Works great. The little lady said if I need something sewed will you help me (smile) naturally. Going this week lol.... I also got 3 GREAT window air conditioners, Fax machine, Computer Scanner, and lots of other great (NICE) things. Many people just do not wish to try and sale, so use Free Cycle. By the way I like your New Home. Nice machine... keep going green
