My DH says if I would spend as much time sewing and quilting as I do on this board I could really accomplish a lot! I love this board, it is the first thing I go to each day.

Why do we do this to ourselves? I spend far more time on here than I should too. What is it that draws us to this site? New ideas? New friends? New things for sale? Hmmmm..... Strange isn't it?

I don't think it is an addiction, I don't think its a bad habit, and I don't think I will ever have a Suzy Homemaker house as long as this board exists. Its lots more fun than housework

I used to say I'm "Addicted to Stamping". There's a site with that name. Now I say I'm addicted to quilting and this board. You're not alone.

I think a lot of the chat that goes on here is similar to the chat that went on years ago over the quilt frames with neighbors, sisters, mothers and so forth. We want female companionship with like-minded individuals. Instead of sitting around the frame, we are sitting at lap tops, and PCs. The world has changed but our need to talk, laugh, cry and share hasn't!
