Piney, so glad you got to experience IKEA!! I've found different types of fabrics in different IKEA locations. In Tampa, they had quite a vast selection including sheers for curtains. In Orlando, there was some quilt-worthy cottons but mostly heavier weight fabrics for duvets, pillow covers, etc., but on Long Island (where I'm headed tomorrow) they have a lot of everything!! That $100 gift card is going to serve me well!! lol!

the Ikea in Hicksville, Long Island, NY has a fairly large amount of fabrics to choose from. I did VERY well there today!! Hope your fabric department grows - perhaps if you contact the management and tell them of your interest? I'm sure you're not the only one there wanting to see a grater fabric choice - good luck!!

Denver just got a new IKEA. People camped out to get in the day they opened. Have hear they do not pay US taxes. Didn't know they carried fabric. The store is huge from pics I have seen.
