WOW! Quite a find! Very colorful assortment and I'm sure some charity would LOVE to have those quilts to give to some needy person(s).

Number 1 is not Friendship Star.

Friendship Star is a 9-patch with HSTs in it. The block in quilt 1 is a 4-patch with no HSTs. I believe it's a block called Periwinkle, also known as Arkansas Snowflake or Four-Point. Here’s its history and an illustration.

#1 may also be called "Arkansas Snowflake" (or is a variation of it)

Edited to add: Whoops, I see Ghostrider beat me to it. I've never heard of that block being called "friendship star".

#1 _ friendship star var.,#2_tumbling star,#3monkey wrench OR hole in the barn door,#4 straight furrows, #6 spider web,#7rail fence. #5 LOOKS like another tumbling star var. There are many many var. on some patterns as the maker added or subtracted colors, pieces, etc. Hope this helps. P.S. These are Ky. names and common patterns found in Ky.
