thanks, I usually use a lint roller but this method would really clean it nicely.

So you soak yours overnight in the bathtub...Without soap? Just in plain water? Room temp water? I've never heard this before and haven't done this with mine, obviously.... so I'm thinking its never to late to start.

Some mats are not self healing on the back side. But, never throw one away. They are great for covering with fabric and using as a purse "floor support".

I find a mist of Windex and then two warm rinses with a clean cotton towel soaked in warm water and then squeezed almost dry works best for me. Using mild detergent can leave a residue which will dull your blade and also attract dirt and dust.
