It's beautiful!! I agree with Tartan and others. Each of my four daughters has totally different taste. When three of them were pregnant seven years ago, one said "make whatever kind of quilt you want, Mom, I'll love it." The other two were very particular about the colors and type of design I should make for the babies. I used some of the same fabrics in each, but had a lot of fun anyway. I've offered purses, but guess which one was delighted with what I made her. Recently made a small bag for one of the fussier ones, though she pointed out changes she'd like. The younger generation is VERY opinionated, from what I can see. At least give her the chance to make the decision, because you just don't know how she'll like it.

Yes, I would definately get her opinion before ditching it. She may surprise you. You could always let her use it as a gift for a friend of hers as their Christmas present.

I think your bag is very nice and the color/fabric will go with anything. I would be very proud to own it, and I'll bet your daughter will be too. It is a very unique design, and very well made. I would give it to her, and be proud I did! If for whatever reason you don't feel it is enough, put a gift card inside one of those inside pockets............that should do the trick!

I love it. If you think it would help, you could get her initials (embroidered) and applique it on the front. Just an idea.
