    Yes, Brenda, it is much less expensive to buy the cones. Go online and check out Long Creek Mills. He ships everywhere.

    Thanks for sharing this idea. I have and use 3 cone holders without a problem except that I have more than 3 machines, usually with several threaded at the same time (and on different floors of my house). Now this idea will keep all my machines that I need threaded at the same time well supplied with freely flowing thread. Looks like a great idea for the vintage/antique machines. And no more running up and down the stairs!
