Refreshing to notice so many references to WALMART as a source for a change.

I have that same problem at my Joann's too ... just steam a seam in sheets (notions area) ... I can still buy it by the yard at Beverly's with a coupon ... you can shop online or check with the store near Newhall if you ever get to that area. Good luck!

    Thanks.

Prices are going up everywhere. I have noticed that JoAnn's "better" quilt fabric is as expensive as the fabric at my LQS, so I would rather shop there and support them than a large corporation. JMO I needed a new 60mm rotary blade. JoAnns price was $13.99 for one blade. That is double what I paid the last time I bought one there. I ordered a pkg. of 5 blades for $24.16 on Amazon. I have a Prime membership so I don't pay shipping. Online shopping is looking better all the time.

Sorry to say: I have heard that alot of the Fabric businesses; batting etc. are going out of bus. becuase of the new tax and requirement of our Gov. If you can aford to stock up I suggest doing so. I have all my projects in boxes and bags ready to complete; just in case. others supplies may be hard to find also. I do pray otherwise.

The Joann's I shop at still has the Wonder Under. Don't know if they are just waiting to sell out of it. But, when I was there a week or so ago, they still had several bolts. Who Knows???

i get all my fusible products at JoAnns using the 40-50% off coupons. I use the Steam A Seam light unless I am looking for a stiffer product. For purses I usually use fusible batting. For embroidery by hand I use a really soft, thin, lightweight fusible fabric (cannot remember the name). Love it though and it prevents your stitches from showing through. I get it at OverRainbow.com. Comes in black and white

I usually find both at Hancocks, or I just go on Google to order from the web.

Joann's carries it in the notions, individually packaged. I purchased some 2 weeks ago.

My LQS carries it. Also the local Handcock's. I buy at one or the other....depends on where I am when I need it....which side of town and time of day.
