Very pretty fabrics. Good luck with the quilt.

I plan on having top done tomorrow and all put together by Friday at the latest. Machine quilt will have to wait till I get another set of hands to help me.

I will be adding a deep red as a final boarder so I can get it to size of the wool blanket.

Oh, a shadow box quilt would be beautiful with these fabrics.

Looks like your squaters have claimed so of your stash. Mine do the very same thing, like they lurck in the room until you have something laid out that you need to look at when they suddenly appear. I like your first block layout, with all the large prints I think a large block would be best. I like both ideas, sashing with a solid or just letting all the flowers flow from one to another.

Beautiful fabrics. Since its for camping I would make something simple like a rail fence.
Or cut a lot of strips and make a 1600 quilt, so easy and goes together quickly.

It should turn out like a spring garden.

How fun! I think it will be very pretty. Love your quilt inspector. He looks like he is loathe to let you into HIS scrap pile.

Love your fabrics - your MIL loves flowers, I see! Your second cat -- is he a Maine Coon cat? He's quite large in comparison to your black fur baby....

I want one of those black things that weigh down your quilt pieces so they don't blow away. What a beauty.

Your MIL has a good eye for fabric!!! She will enjoy the finished quilt as much as you are enjoying piecing it together. Thanks for sharing.
