    This morning when I was making the bed, I found a dried blood spot on it! It was of course in the light sky part of the quilt! I tried hydrogen peroxide, table salt and then tested a snip of the backing to see if it would fade, it didn't so I used Oxyclean. It didn't all come out, but it took about half of it out. I was so bummed! Its outside now drying. I couldn't wash the whole thing, but just the top part.

    Your home on the lake sounds like the perfect place for your quilt. I don't buy panels because I don't know how to work with them or to improve them like you did. I think you did a great job of designing to make it big enough for a queen bedspread. Thanks for sharing it with us.
