i have talked to the seller and they said price is negotiable. hopefully i can get it at a lower price and that will be even better. my uncle who lives in the area is on his way now to check it. i will keep you all posted on how it goes. we will see.

I think they are getting more expensive on eBay as we have this conversation.

Sorry, but this really irks me. You know what it's really worth and are offering less than what is already a steal? When people low ball me I ignore them or refuse to sell it to them.

not to low ball the seller. and not my character as a buyer. but she was the one open to negotiation. she told me so, that's why i was so keen on bargaining. if she said - nope it's $50, then i am fine with that too. in any case i am really aware that the price is a good deal and will be happy to get it at the price at least. thanks.

PS: i have not heard from my uncle yet. he said he will be there in 5 minutes (and that was an hour ago)

It is more irksome when you have a lot of time in the machine. It doesn't bother me so much when it is something I haven't worked on.

The 301 is a hundred times better. The 128 uses a long bobbin. Too much trouble. Get the 301.
