    Ethel, you have done an absolutely beautiful job.

    I just want to say....especially to all of you quilters from the USA, your patriotism is admirable, your pride in your flag and your country is always evident, in your words and your art. You are diverse yet united...something very special indeed.

    Thank you, everyone. You are very kind. I think I have mastered making HST's and stars, at this point. You would think that they pattern would call for Flying Geese, but it didn't. All of the star points are HST's.

    I cut 224 two-inch squares from white, tan, and blue scraps, last night. I will work on the border, this week. Thanks, again, for taking a look at my quilt top.
