The pattern I used came in a kit. It's called Thimble Pleasures by Quilting Treasures. The kit used pictures of old sewing machines and sewing fabric. I tweaked it by adding black borders on the MM pics so they were all the same size. I also tweaked the alternating blocks by making the inner fabric bigger (the shoe fabric) and not adding the white inner border. The pattern made spools blocks for the outer border. I made my own borders.
