Bear trouble

I live in rural ne Ohio. Bears are a common sight in the area. If we see one we are supposed to report to ODNR for census reasons. But people find out and drive by for pics and are so ignorant to safety we never ever report! My dog is fed inside always, is watched if she goes out after dark. We always take precautions not just for bear but for coyote and cougar, believe it or not! No they are not sweet and cuddly or misunderstood. They are wild and opportunistic. I have a very healthy respect for wild animals.

It's just not crowing them out of their area! Water or the lack thereof is the major problem in our Arizona areas.
We had one in Prescott that was a younger bear, tho very large. He was tagged and released. The following week he went south into one of the AZ towns probably 75 miles away at least. He was captured and wildlife people decided to put him down after realizing he had been tagged just the week before.
Even in southern Arizona they are having bears come into neighborhoods looking for water and food.
