My sister has waited 40 years to find the right guy and get married. Well, less than 40 since that is her age. I know, naughty me for telling!) In today's age when so many people live together, she has actually waited, which is amazing. I figure the least I can do is help out as much as possible & give her all the support I can.

Tiffany, what a lovely note. Thank you. I retired a bit early so I could spend more time with my husband of 40 years, and quilt. Now I am showing sighs of Arthritis in my hands so I quilt as much as I can now. Can't color (on quilts) or embroidery any more. I love quilting and plan to do a lot for quilts for kids in 2010. (Downy.com) Sorta like making lemonade out of the lemons we sometime receive. I too spend a lot of time on the quilting forums. they are such fun and educational!
Hope you and DH have a happy and healthy new year.

Tiffiny and Judithb, reading your postings (and taking into consideration my health problems), I am reminded of the wise advice given by movie star Katherine Hepburn...."Old age is not for cowards." I totally agree. Belles
