    What lovely crochet. My mother, grandmother and ggrandmother crocheted so many pineapple doilies and they now are such treasures to have.

    Those are really beautiful!!! I crochet but have a problem with it now because of elbow tendonitis. I'm hoping I can finish an afgan I started a couple of years ago. I can do about 1 small row at a time. I use to crochet with the fine cotton thread but that's out now too because I have trouble holding the small needle and thread. My mother use to crochet and tat and I have some of her doilies. I am not going to part with them. At least I can still knit and sew.

    You do beautiful work. I have several similar crocheted pieces that my grandmother made. I would love to find a way to incorporate them into a quilt or wall hanging. Do you have any ideas along those lines?
