    Stunning block design and fabric choice reminds me of some of the blocks in Carol Doak's Mariner's Compass but I haven't seen one exactly like that. Hand pieced!!!Oh my!!!
    Congratulations it is beautiful thank you for sharing. This forum is inspiring!! and addictive.

    Wow! Your block is stunning. Thank you for sharing the pattern. I've downloaded it and once I get back into hand piecing I'm going to have to give this a try. I can't wait to see your finished quilt!!

    Beautiful block! My patience is so thin that I barely have enough for hubby right now much less the hand quilting. Just kidding. Hubby is a Teddy Bear. Been there done that hand piecing with a granny's garden years ago! I'm getting ready to try machine quilting on a baby quilt soon. Got walking foot will travel! Any helpful hints with that?
