    Thank you but I can't take the credit for the split background...it came with the pattern. I have 4 blocks done and when I get the rest of them all sewn together and arranged I'll post the finished quilt. I like the pattern...one of those mindless, easy, fast patterns that gives great results! :lol:

    Bright is good! I'm sure the birthday lady is going to love it.

    I loved making this block. It ended up being a whole quilt that I will wrap up and take to a nursing home in the next couple days.
