    Thank you all for your kind comments. I actually have made the woven background twice (learning the first time around all my errors of my ways). (And made new mistakes the 2nd time around :-)). That's my Sunflower avatar. Not wanting to waste the first effort I made the Spooky Pumpkin Patch.

    I constructed the design with the following patterns: Woven Quilts by Anna Faustino for the background, Pumpkin applique pattern from Caught Up In Stitches and the birds are a Stampabilities rubber stamp enlarged. Fabric tag made with rubber stamps.
