It is very beautiful. I love looking at scrappy, but have a hard time doing scrappy. I know that is why I just started Scrap Therapy. LOL

Great job and I like it very much. The "mismatched" blocks all read the same color, so from a distance it is totally not noticeable. You did a great job!!

Somehow scraps mean quilts to me and yours is absolutely beautiful. So glad to see it! (I also love the lowly 9 patch- It also is just so simple and so effective!)

Thanks to all of you who have commented on my "scrap" effort. I do so appreciate your interest, and can't wait to post photos of the latest quilt I am doing - a scrap pinwheel and setting it is giving me fits.

I learned to quilt from my granny, sitting beside her on the sofa as she did English piecing. All of her quilts, every one of them, were scrap quilts and to me, a quilt IS a scrap quilt. I have done, and do appreciate the "other" kinds of quilts, I call them "arty" quilts, but a real quilt, the kind you cuddle in on a chilly night is a scrap quilt.

Beautiful quilt. The nine patch is about my favorite quilt pattern. I'm sure that it was the first quilt I made. It was the only pattern I used for quite a few years. Once, I made a queen size quilt with nine patch set together without any sashing.

Very nice quilt. It looks like a good old-fashioned one. I may have to borrow your idea and use up some of my scraps!

It's a beauty...love looking at all those beautiful colours and fabrics...Scrap quilts are what made me interested in quilting. They are still my all time favourites.
