Jayelee, your miniature quilts are beautiful, particularly the log cabin. You put a lot of work into them and they qualify as wall quilts in my eyes :thumbup: The first tiny one might fit a bed in a doll's house :lol:

According to Wikepedia quilt by defination is;
" A quilt is a type of bedding composed several layers generally combined using the technique of quilting. Many are made with decorative designs, and some of these are not used as bed covering at all, but are rather made to be hung on a wall or otherwise displayed."
So they are wrong!!
:D

a quilt is 3 layers held together with stitching...has nothing to do with size at all,
and those women should browse an antique quilt book sometime...there are tons of beautiful, prized doll quilts from the 1800's! so sorry; you must live where the quilt police train?
sorry, if it were me i'm afraid i would ask them that..
your QUILTS are wonderful!

There are many patterns out there for miniature quilts and I have some of them. Busy Thimble quilt shop specializes in mini quilts in civil war reproduction fabrics as made by Jo Morton. Those guild gals don't know what they are talking about....guess they are quilt snobs!!
