I have to agree. I've been to a few weddings in the past couple of years and am a little tired of plunging necklines with bulging cleavage and the underarm bulge-over on strapless dresses. I'm certainly no prude, but a little more coverage sure adds dignity and sophistication in my eyes.

That's what I did (made it myself and threw it out with him!)

Mine is stored at my mom's--I think. At least it was. She never saves anything so who knows after 44 years. Funny-my daugher's is in a special storage box stored at my house. Don't know what she plans to do with it because her daugher is much bigger and taller than she was/is.

I made my wedding dress 44 years ago. It is in the attic tucked in a box and as yet I have never looked inside. It is a size 8 - oh, those where the days.

I agree. Watching a lot of the wedding shows on tv, I also am a little tired of the cleavage! Sexy should be for the wedding night, not the wedding ceremony. In my opinion. But then, I'm an old lady and my wedding dress (40 years ago) was up to my neck and down to my wrist and ankles but I loved it.

When my nephew was married the wedding dress was so revealing my DH just kept his distance. He didn't feel like he needed to see that much of someone else's wife.

I wore my mother's dress. Our daughter wanted to wear it too but they said the fabric was too old to be altered.

I gave mine back. I borrowed a hand crocheted floor length gown with train. It weighed a ton but boy was it beautiful.

Mine was in my Ex's attic until he met the *&@$ and when they got married she wore MY wedding dress.
Totally ruined it for my DD, so when I did get it back I gave it away!!
