    Oh, stunning quilt, I think it needs lots of fancy feathers in the open spaces. You can do them on a domestic machine but I will admit it does take lots of practice. A LA quilter might be a solution to really make this quilt sing.

    Love red and white quilts and I too think that the white spaces need some fancy quilting. Let us see it when it's done!

    beautiful, you could quilt around each colored piece, then do a meandering for the white strips, etc.
    a long arm design would probably be best though.

    It's beautiful! Personally, I've not attempted a bed-size quilt (yet), but when I do, I think I would take it to a good long-armer simply because of the size of the piece. Good luck....be sure to post a photo of the finished quilt. Thanks for sharing! Karen

    This quilt is extrodinarily beautiful. Red and white really stands out. I have no suggestions about the quilting except whomever you choose, be sure you get your message across on what you want done.

    I agree with Sweeter and I would just add that we want to see pictures when it's finished, ok?
