I talked myself out of taking part in this BOM, just thought I would lurk and enjoy everyones creations. Well, with all the beauties posted and Sulabug hosting, how could I not take part! Here is my January block, had a bit of a mind freeze and started removing the paper on the lower left block, you know how this ends, right? Stretch!!! Glad I remembered before pulling off the other 3... Oh well, come on February!
Sulabug, you are a great hostess, thanks for another year of fun.

Addielou, I love your blocks. That dark blue makes them all look like jewels.''
Thomp116, yours looks like it's floating around in space. Great background fabric.
Tulip, glad you decided to join in. It is a lot of fun and Sulabug is a fabulous hostess. Love the colors in your block.
It's amazing how different the stars look just by placing the light or dark fabrics in a different spot. I love them all.

I was just thinking how we have our sisters from "down under" and their seasons are opposite of ours and I will be going to visit my daughter in Melbourne in April. Should I do my quilt in Aussie season colors or not???????hmmmmmm I might just have to go buy fabric there. (Yes I know it is very expensive) Although Melbourne is very much like Southern California.
Keep us posted on what you decide to do!!

You have made three of the most awesome Snow Blossom blocks for this month & they are all gorgeous!!
Do you plan to make three calendar quilts, at the end of the year, for gift's? Love your fabric's you chose to make your blocks with, especially the fabric with the snowflakes printed on it. I tried to find fabric like that, but wasn't able too, so I appreciate seeing all of the blocks that have the snowflake print's on them. Very nice work paper piecing too. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
