Quote: Thanks. I oiled it really good last night and let it set overnight. It seems the sticking is gone now.
I work on several machines at a time. When I get a new-to-me machine I always oil it up really good and run it or at least turn the hand wheel several times to let the oil soak into it. Quite often when I come back to it to work on it, it spins better than when I put it away. I am glad to hear it is going well there for you.

Does anyone know how I met thread the machine. I have never used a Treadle. It is odd to me. Here is a picture of the machine if it helps.

OK new issue. I took the bobbin threader off to clean it better as it was really dirty. I also took the little arm that moves the thread back and forth off. After putting it back on the arm will move as far out as it ijs supposed to, but when it needs to strart going back to the right it doesn't. It doesn't spring back into place like it used to. Anyone know why?
Definitely a National; looks like a model VB-TT(4). Probably somewhere in 1890 to early 1900's. I'll see if I can find my list of badged names.

Thank you. I believe you are right. I looked up that machine and it looks just like mine

You wouldn't happen to know how to thread it would you? I do not have a manual.
