Well my DQ isn't even started but I do have my fabrics picked out. At least some of them.

I wanted to show you what I picked up today at Hobby Lobby for $3.50!
This is a keepsake box I am going to put my DQ in to send it. I thought my quilter could keep her DQ in it for storage or keep whatever she chooses to put in it.

They had several differant Christmas designs but this one looks like tatting to me. Maybe it has a differant name for the design but I just loved this box. So for that price I couldn't resist it!!

Isn't it great? I loved it when I saw it. I may have to go back and get me one. Hope they still have them!!

SewJoyce I am speechless. I wish I could do even a 10th of what you did on this quilt! I love it. I had not gotten into whole cloth quilts but I received one from Ninnie and got a first hand view of these lovely quilts! It is a talent you can be so proud of!! Such beautiful needlework!

Thanks -- It means so much to me that you like it! Wasn't sure if anyone would want it for the doll quilt exchange....and if no one did, I have time to make another one!

This is also my first whole cloth. I got it all done and thought, "OK, when I wash it and all that blue washes out -- will you be able to see the stitching?" LOL -- But I forgot about the slight shrinkage....Duh! :lol:
