I would use a bright color for sashing and then a black border and perhaps colored borders. Just play with it and see what you like.

I would use black & white with panels to make quilt front, perhaps attic windows.
For the back I would make the blocks shown in the panels & have a reversible quilt.

The first thing that came to mind is to find matching picture frames and hang them on the wall in the formation you showed - they'd make a great decoration for your quilting room!
(Being a painter, I might try to 'enhance' them with a bit of fabric paint as well)

Very nice panels. I would build around them with nice patches, squares and other blocks. I love working with panels. Cut them apart and re position among the "other" blocks that you make. Maybe something scrappy.

Thanks so much everyone. I would love to see pics of what you did with yours. I have so many ideas running thru my head right now of what to do with them. I have thought about the attic window idea. I'll just leave them the way they are for now, something will come up and it will be my "AHHHH haaaa" moment!

I used to have some of those panels and they were when the liquid embroidery pens were in "vogue". Can't quite remember the name but they used to host parties & sell them in tubes with a thick ballpoint type of nib.
Have fun with your new toys.

What a great panel. I've never seen anything like that. Will make a wonderful quilt.
