when sewing/quilting occupies your mind when you are at work..hmmmm.. that has to be the passionate obession of it all.. I think of things while I am at work and I write it down in a book and the re-read it at home on Saturday over a cuppa coffee to think of how to make it. LOL
So ummm hmmm .. Don't anyone call the men in the little white coats to take me to the "room" Okay ??well unless there is a sewing machine, material, thread ummm.. LOL

My daughter and grandaughter have just moved in with my husband and I, due to a seperation, and I have had very little time and frankly, very little motivation to sew for about a month now and I am getting CRANKY!!! My husband told me to go rent a motel room for the weekend and just sew. I guess that means I'm having withdrawls..lol

Finding balance is so hard to do. We need to do the everyday stuff, but we also need to fuel our soul. I try to balance it all as well. I know when I set aside 30 mins for me time. I can get a lot done. Spread that over a week a month a year and you will be surprised how much you truely finished. Make 2 lists must do and need to do. Put the housework and sewing on the lists. Figure the time needed to complete the project. Then allocate time everyday to that project. It can work. Let us know how you do!

It's hard to say what it is, but I have had the same feelings. There is "need to go sew". It can pass, however...

But I do love to sew. I need to find some great projects and get back to work.

Well just think about the contrast between the two: Sewing fun projects in your sewing room - versus - doing the usual chores around the house... :D No contest!

Ditto for me - no place I'd rather be.
