    Yes, that part got my attention as well. The quilt is indeed gorgeous and I hope the OP comes back and elaborates on the batiking process she used. I haven't done it since high school and used a wax pot and dyes and then loads of newspaper to melt the wax out. Very messy process. I will buy them! LOL.
