    absolutely adorable - you are just going to thrill your friend, it will be a great gift

    I see you said you didn't have a pattern, but for those of us who would like a little guidance - I did find these tutes or patterns:

    This is really beautiful!! I have planned (in my head) to make one like this. I am sure it will look great when you put those brown shelves on it!
