I have little ones and great big ones by every maker there is and I just love them all. No favorites at all. If I am cutting several layers of fabric, then I like the biggest one. If I am cutting a small piece, then I like the smallest. As long as they are sharp, then I love them.

I use the Olfa 45mm. With a straight yellow handle, so I can use it with either hand.

My favorite is the Olfa 60mm. I also have the 45 but don't use it as often. I had a Martelli, and for some reason it bothered my hand and I ended up selling it.

I use the Ofla 45 most of the time and fill in with the 60 when needed - esp. using the twister ruler. I was gifted with the Martelli and I am having a hard time getting used to it. I switch hands with the Ofla and can't with the Martelli....also having trouble staying with the ruler - I seem to veer off to the right....:-(

I have a Fons & Porter, and Gingher 45 and Olfa 45. I prefer the Olfa, especially the one with the right/left toggle control. I am going to have to try the Martelli.

I have an OLD straight handled 45mm Dritz.
Have a couple others with a curved handle. Don't use them.
