The quilt on my bed has several seams that have opened up - mainly from my husband laying on it. His mother made it. The places that are open have a very tiny seam allowance that has frayed. Hard to tell what kind of fabric she used. She buys clothes at Good Will and cuts them apart to use in quilts. I am tempted to show it to her to see if she wants to fix it somehow.
