Oh, my goodness, we ironed with those irons all day, all week. We were so poor we took in washing and ironing. sheets, pillow cases, dish cloths, underwear, slips EVERYTHING HAD TO BE IRONED.ha. We heated the irons on our coal stove.

The girl scout Motto is be prepared and you WERE! Life is so much easier when we make the time to be prepared. Not only did you have your quilting prepared but you had water, and heat, and food. Very Smart Lady. Keep safe, I have no TV but hear that you have very cold weather coming in with snow so stay warm and keep prepared.

So glad you are safe. I love this block. I even liked it before you made it into a crab.

[Rosie the "Ripper Quilters are very creative people and you proved that - actually, it was ingenious. Good luck returning to normal and speedy recovery. Keep on quilting! QUOTE]

Rosie took the words right out of my mouth-well out of my brain actually. Always knew quilters were the best.
