Re-organizing help needed

I have two cabinets that I purchased at Target like this one but mine are about 60 inches tall--I can't find it on line but the store had mine in stock and I paid about $39 for them.

I bought comic book backing boards on Amazon and file folder rubber bands at Walmart.

I fold my fabric and wrap it around the boards like the fabric stores do and then put a large rubber around the fabric to hold it in place. I would send a picture but we are in the process of moving so everything is in storage.

fabric help
I am getting ready to take a large computer desk out of my sewing room. It will be replaced with storage of some sort. What do you ladies find works the best for storage of UFO's and fabric? I do not want open bookcases with no backs...everything disappears! Thought about just stacking bins, but they are heavy to toss around when looking for something

I keep my fabric in colorless plastic bins. They're bigger than the one that holds files in file folders, but not as big as the largest bins. But you could choose whatever size you can comfortably lift. If I ever get the sewing area decluttered, I'll replace the love seat there with a shelving unit from IKEA (Ivar), and place the bins on the shelving unit. I'm still trying to recover from a basement flood. Everything is off the floor, except what's fallen there since.

My solution is a tower of 3 drawer plastic organizers...the BIG ones...I have 3 of them stacked....I did put a piece of wood in between because they tend to get heavy and make the drawers sag. You can have lots of them if you have that much stuff! Or buy an old dresser with deep drawers and then stack a couple of these on top.

Maybe you can get some book cases with doors on the front, so you can close them. I have a white bookcase/no doors. But I've got my material layed out like, they are on bolts in material shop(length wise). I've even added a couple shelfs extra
