I finally have 2 correctly-sized blocks sewn, 2 partially sewn strip sets, enough strips cut for 2 or 3 more blocks and one block that still needs to be re-sewn to be usable. I enjoy making these and each one is a size improvement on the last - a great relief. Whew...hope not to disappoint you all!

hi all, sorry to be late putting my name in for the new swap. it has been a bitter sweet month. my mom died last week and we had a quick trip to CA, made it before she died. then a wedding for my GD at the end of the week. both were in CA was so busy going through things with my sis. makes you think twice about your stash! not the stash but all the rest of the stuff we save.haven't finish the batiks yet but still have time. I'm excited about this new exchange, was getting burned on the D4P. please put me in for 4 sets.

Condolences on your mom's passing. You're in my thoughts & prayers. Isn't it great that we have this creative outlet??? Very happy to have you, as always.

Haven't gotten that far yet. My initial thought was to have each block with different strips from the same color family, i.e., all red, all green, all purple, etc. or have, for example blue Batik strips alternated with solid white ((we did solid black to death, right??)). Feedback welcome and encouraged. Also haven't decided on the size of the block either. How big a block do you want to do?

While I have all sorts of ideas running around in my head, I certainly welcome input from you guys. Do you want something easier like a Depression block? Thoughts on a Paper Pieced swap?

Let me know!!! This is everyone's group.

Oh gosh I still need to mail my batiks. Sooo glad I got them sewn at my daughters.

About your September "Three Dudes". Don't the directions give you a block size? I don't remember. I'll look it up. LoL

Amazing Jelly Roll Quilt Pattern by 3 Dudes! Is this the one your planning?
