I think Aunt Grace's Garden is actually prettier because it has the appliqued border.

I super LOVE the border with the birds and flowers. Is that ric rak for the vines.

Thank you so much Lynnie! That is ric rac for the vine. That's what the pattern called for & it was the first time I've ever used it. Made it very easy. If you have a Fons & Porter subscription then it's a free download pattern. This is a great pattern for scraps.
