    Like bearisgray, I use the threads I have. I use upcycled cottons and threads that I already have. I know my grandmothers did not use these expensive fancy threads for their quilts and I have a few that are about a 100 years old. If I showed my quilts, I would probably want to use the latest and greatest threads.

    I use Masterpiece by Superior Threads. It is 50 wt and sews nicely plus there are many colors to choose from.
