Pamela, I hate to see LQS going out of business. But maybe you can get lots for a song. Their loss, but your gain!
Unless you are on the fabric moratorium thread here on this site, and then you'll have to beg forgiveness for what you buy. But still! How can you pass up those sales, right?

Teals and aquas seem to be a challenge. Challenges make us grow. But then again, so does the extra piece of strawberry shortcake I ate the other day. Ha!

Eat. Quilt. Quilt some more....eat many more.....works for me!

‘I know, I just got a call that I won something in their retirement drawing. I’m going to head down in a bit to look around and pick up my goodie. So bitter sweet.

On on another note I am so excited about the little “extra” that I found to include in this swap and now I don’t know if they will be here in time or not. probably not.

On the bright side I guess this means I can tell my husband that I HAVE to do next months swap.

Sharing Jaba’s Update from another thread:
PET scan came back with good news, no other cancer was found! that is such a big relief to know. Pre surgery and pre chemo appts. tomorrow and then surgery on Thursday to install the chemo port. Radiation and chemo will start Monday morning at 10 a.m. then everyday for 6 weeks. Got my hair cut today, very short, just in case figure I'm ahead of the game a little and am saving the septic system.
Love everyone's fabric, just wish I could play. Your block's will have a very special meaning to me ladies, please know how much I appreciate your kindness.
LJ and Kass hope you are feeling better, I'm sending very positive thoughts and prayers your way. I'm done for tonight so will try to post in a day or two. If any of you are in another swap that I have had to drop, etc. please feel free to update them for me....I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance

Red, I am following your suggestion about postage to help with the project. It is inside my envelope with the charms. Thanks for letting me take part.

I am laughing... same issue with color this morning. I looked at mine and thought, that looks blue. Just going to get them bagged up and on their way. Know I did my best to be in the teal/aqua realm. They are some really pretty charms.

Helpful Tip- Don't work on a touch screen tablet right after you put moisturizer on your hands!

Mine are in the mail! MY husband decided he wanted to help me last night. I am 99.9 percent confident you will all get 5 inch squares. He did a good job and just had to be thankful for the help. He wants to quilt, it is just finding the time to work with him. He added the "extras" too.
