Pam, I sent you a PM. I like the pattern with the smaller amount of floral best but like the large too. I wonder what would happen if you made the floral a true square without that little red triangle. It would interrupt the whole line on that side, though. I am just amazed at artists like you that can "see" the fabric made up in something like this. I can copy something, anybody can do that, but have a very hard time just making up something. I have gotten better at changing fabrics in an existing pattern using fabric from my stash but it's still difficult and I end up with a raging headache. Maybe it's a matter of the more you do, the better you get. I suppose the EQ6 helps too. I remember one of the first quilts I did, a baby quilt, I colored in graph paper. It had fussy cut little baby animals in the squares w/triangles. It was hand pieced and quilted. Just found the 'hard' picture, must have been from 1975. I was so naive, lol. Anyways, I am enjoying your process of creating this beautiful quilt. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
    Wendy

It is lovely. I love the colours. They remind me of my favourite Laura Ashley dress when I was younger. I think that the triangle is better than the small squares

I think that the squares of floral look as though they are part of the quilt. The triangles seem to dominate. But regardless it is beautiful. You are very clever at designing.

I created the pattern for this quilt. It's my first ever attempt to write a pattern and my stomach is in knots!! Please be gentle but don't hesitate to let me know if there is a mistake. Also, I haven't made this quilt yet, I should receive the fabric in a few days, so I wouldn't be surprised if something needs to be changed or corrected.

I will try to do a tutorial on my blog while I make the quilt. The links to the PDF documents are at the top of the blog that is in my signature here.

Oh thank you! That will be great to see the quilt in progress! I think it will be fabulous. I can't wait to see the fabrics. I'd say "good luck" but know you will do a super job!

Your pattern is absolutely beautiful. If I were going to change anything I think it would be the center tulip. Maybe good idea to stay with the rose theme. Just a thought. I would like to see it when it's finished. Good Job.
