Me too, I usually end up with lots of kits too. And the fabric sits and looks pretty in my sewing room. lol
I wonder if a color wheel would help? If I knew how to use one....

I finally sorted & bundled them & sold at a quilt guild garage sale. I still have a lot of fabric - some yardage, some scraps, some fqs. Oh, I'm never going to use my stash - I work in a LQS!
Do you live anywhere near Upstate NY? If so, I'll happily come shopping in your stash!!!

What a great idea, Honey. I think I may try that. I ordered some of those boards from the lady on here and am waiting for them to arrive, just hope they come before my surgery date for lung cancer. I don't suppose I will feel like doing much for a while after that and that makes me mad...I hate sitting and doing nothing. I usually try to sew for a couple of hours a day..

Oh Baubo - hope you are at peace about your surgery. You sound like an upbeat person. God Bless You and your recovery. Good Nite. Mona

Be bold, grab a bit of everything you have and shove it in a big bag...get scrappy. Failing that roughly put them into "categories" and only shop to match or contrast with what you have on hand...maybe you have too much in the way of patterns and not enough plains.

Thank you Mona. I have resigned myself to the inevitable. I will need the surgery to remove the cancer and maybe chemo. But I am not looking forward to it at all. Just keep on praying it has not spread. I have a new hubby and am just getting back into my quilting after 5 yrs of non interest in much after losing my hubby to lung cancer 5 yrs ago. Life is good again, and I don't need this right now., but I am trying to be positive.. for my children also.
They don't need to worry about me. They have their own problems.
