Need to make 12 more blocks. Just finished squaring the blocks I've already completed. Hopefully, I can start putting them together this weekend.

BTW...I'm bringing homemade ice cream! If I can't locate my mother's recipe, store bought will have to do.

    I can't wait.

    Watergate Salad:

1- 6 oz box of Pataschio Pudding
1- 14 oz can of crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1- 10 oz bag of mini marshmallows
1- 12 or 9 oz container of Cool Whip
    *some marachino cherry's optional*

In large mixing bowl... add can of crushed pineapple to the Pudding... mix well by hand... add the container of Cool Whip .. mix well.. add the marshmallow.. mix well and if you like or have the cherries..stir them in the mix :)

Refridgerate until ready to eat! It makes a great side with all holiday gatherings!

I will be working on a quilt for charity. The quilt shop owner asked if some of our members of our guild could help her get some quilt sewn by June 1st. The pattern is the Brick pattern and has many different fabrics in it.

I decided to make a red, white and blue quilt using a block called color triangle. By the time I'm finished, I should be an expert at HST because it's all HST. It's a block of 9 HST, 3 red and white, 3 blue and white and 3 red and blue. Will post a picture when I get a block done.

Sounds pretty! I am also going to be getting together with friends to sew. I am hoping to make great progress on the Brick quilt so I can sew on my own stuff.

This weekend, I'm making more Lap Quilts 45 x 60 inches with a patriotic theme. These little quilts are donated to the Veteran's Hospital in my area. Each quilt is dated so there is no mistaking when they were made.

Watergate salad - haven't had that in years! Thanks for the reminder - love it!
Since this is a holiday weekend, I just might start my holiday wallhanging for the Christmas season. I'll have time to sew Sun & Mon.

Okay Ladies, when are we starting this? It is a long week end. My husband said he will roast a pig for us. Guess he will have to go catch it first LOL.
