DeniseP, that quilter's hell story> OMG, that's right out of Twilight Zone. Remember old episode of the guy who loved to read, finally had the time and all the books and he broke his glasses. That story of yours is right up there with that one. Yikes, just makes me shiver!!

Will. If I go before my hubs and son, they'll decide what to do with my sewing bins, machines, patterns, books, etc. But I am leaving a list of suggestions as to 'memory gifts' to couple sewing buddies.

One thing I told my husband is that I want a big basket at my funeral filled with fat quaters and other quilty things from my stash. As my quilting friends visit they are to take something away with them. He also knows to give it to some of my friends who do charity quilts. Right now I am trying to downsize by sharing what I have with people who need it.

If my Daughter does not want it . I have told her to check this board or to find a quilter. Do not just put in yard sale. Also I am to be buried with my sisters quilt over me when I die.

I want to be burried rolled in my pineapple quilt(Yes, also after I am death.) but as I was discussing this post with DH he told me he is keeping my pineapple quilt. (My personal snuggle quilt that I always use.) I asked him if he would then sleep under it. He just smiled. I think that is sweet. Wonder how many of you want to be burried in a quilt?

I think I would rather have my quilts be left behind and used by someone still living.

A UFO can go with me, though.

I remember that episode! That would also be hell for me because I love to read.

You have definitely given me something to think about. I have no kids, only one neice and she is not interested in quilting (at least not yet). Maybe I would leave my quilting things to a local school for their sewing classes. I think that would be a good idea and a way to do some good.
