10 MUST HAVE ITEMS in my Quilt/SewingRoom
#41
Look at that cute comfy baby!
Just don't close the box up on him/her!
I also have my music, but have a small tv too. Sometimes I'll want to listen to a show while I"m sewing.[/quote]
The small TV is on my list of things to get - my hubby just doesn't know it yet!!

GMarie: I'd like to have a small TV in my sewing room, too but DH me changes the channel to anything I want to watch when I come out and watch with him so I can't really justify my own TV. Not that I have to justify anything but it's kinda nice to go out and do some cutting out, ripping or pattern perusing with him in front of the TV in the evening.

OK guys, I've come up with another MUST HAVE in my sewing room. That would be the 23 inch fabric bolt cardboards from Joann's. I've been buying fabric forever and always bring them home and fold them and put them on a shelt. Now i ask for the empy cardboard bolts so I can put my fabric back on the bolt to store. They stay nice and clean, don't wrinkle so bad and I can see at a glance what I have. I get these bolt cardboards everytime I go to the fabric store. Joann's give them to me. WalMart has given me some and at a fabric store in the city they wanted to charge me for them at one place but when I refused to pay the lady said she'd ask the manager who said I could have all I needed but I would need to come in before closing to get them as they apparently squash them or open them up and bundle them for the trash pick up.

Besides all hte basic quilting/sewing supplies, I need:
1. A tall mango mojito
2. My TV/DVD player with a Netflix available at all times
3. Digital Camera to take pics of my finish quilts immediately or lse I forget and never do it.
4. Laptop to upload the pics.
5. Canned air to clean out loose clipping.
6. Teflon cover for my table so I don't need an ironing board and the ironing surface is much larger.
7. Plastic thingy to turn large pipping inside out (sorry, don't know the name of it)
8. Bobbin winder
9. My official bobbin winder operator. His name is Emmanuel and he is the cuttest 6 year old you have seen in your life. He loves to come and push that little button.
10. Add to that my machine and basic supplies.

The #6 above is intriquing...is that an ironing board cover or did you make the cover for your sewing table? Can you post a picture of what it is you use? Thank you.
