SO COOL! I worked with local theatre (years ago and only backstage) and I loved it. There is such excitement and electiricity backstage. Have thought about doing it again but not sure I can make that 4-6 week commitment.
Do costumes! It is not the time commitment that stage managing is or acting.

when I am not quilting, I am doing the mundane things: cleaning house, laundry, cooking, shopping, gardening, and always on call for gr'children duty. Oh, and of late, spending Way too much time on this board. lol...

If I'm not quilting, then I am either working (I'm an RN), on the computer, eating or sleeping! Basically...that's it!
Oh yeah...and we do like to go to auctions and thrift stores...but that's about it! :)

Oh, let's see. There's so much to do, and so little time!

Well, first of all, I work full-time. I can't wait for 5 o'clock to come so my real life can start.

I read a lot, obsessively practice my violin, work in my garden - I have my own greenhouse.

I like to cook. I'd love to take a cooking class. My latest obsession is planning better menus so I will lose some weight. Who has time to exercise????

I make my own greeting cards and envelopes. A little scrapbooking here and there. I'm a pretty good amateur photographer.

I've recently become interested in painting and want to take a watercolor class.

I am the guardian for my uncle which takes some time.

One of my favorite activities is talking with my brothers, and planning jokes to play on them. I love talking world events and philosophy with them.

I also am happily very involved in my grandchildren's lives - going to the zoo and softball games, figuring out crafts for them, sewing them Halloween costumes, and my all-time favorite....going to the beach!

Whew! No wonder I don't get much quilting done!

Lately I've been thinking about giving up sleeping....

When I am not quilting I am either watching my 3 grandsons (almost 2, 4 & 6) as right now we are all living in one house and I am the only one not working right now or I'm at the laptop reading all the posts here and sometimes I am doing both at the same time. No time for anything else.

Most time I quilt - but I also like to read or to go for a walk. If necessary I also do some gardening.
