    We had another thread going on this block...about using half-square triangles for the 4 corner blocks.

    You don't need a pattern it's on you tube it is as easy as it looks and faster, if you can believe it!

    I used 4 inch blocks and it worked out great, pin is a good idea

    It is easy to make this in any size you want. It is really a streamlined Cathedral Window pattern. Have a look at the link below, which I think will help you.

    There is a book out called "10-Minute Blocks" by Suzanne McNeill. There are directions in the book on using Jelly Rolls, Layer Cakes or Yardage. She gives complete yardage charts and instructions. Plus information on putting extra "centers" between blocks. The book is on sale at Connecting Threads for $13.59.

    I just made one with 5 3 inch blocks ill pst pic tomorrow ....I believe as long as all the blocks are the same size
