The quilt is from an old pattern from 1999 called "Ginger Boys" Indygo Junction, Inc. www.indygojuntioninc.com. I used the embroidery blocks from the secondary project in the pattern but didn't want another wall hanging. Because I have a round kitchen table and two adorable tea light houses that are ginger bread houses, I adapted a pattern from http://ankastreasures.wordpress.com/books-and-patterns/ (the 12 table runner book) to make something that would go on my kitchen table. I had so much fun not following the "rules". My friend is constantly pushing me in that direction but it is hard for me.
